I Can't Install The Game

Postby Spuckklerr » Sat Apr 12, 2014 10:59 am

I downloaded the game last night, but the servers were down so I couldn't play it that day. I shut the computer down and went to sleep, and today I was looking for Haven & Hearth on my PC. I had the autohaven file, which I could open with Java, but my firewall blocked it and I couldn't figure out how to deal with that, so I deleted it and re-installed it. I get the autohaven file, but I can't actually open it with anything, and it doesn't automatically open with Java. I select java to open it, but it just won't work. I don't know what to do at this point, help?

Yeah, that explains the first issue, but because I deleted it and re-downloaded it, it's icon is a blank page, but it should have the Java icon on it. When I try to open it, it asks me what to open it with. I choose Java, and it comes up with the Java install window, and if I click install it comes up with a log that says:

not sure but it looks like your Java isn't installed properly - you'd better install again:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... 80261.html

make sure you download an .exe file (x86 =32 Bit /x64 =64 Bit) - doubleclick to install, when install finishes it should open an Oracle Java Webpage confirming Java got installed properly ...

you set Java security settings as advised

You click Play Button and choose "Open with Java Web Start Launcher" from dropdown menu

(There shouldn't be any .msi files involved in the whole process)
