Could not connect to server

So i just started the game yesterday at school (college), and when i got home, the game starts telling me "colud not connect to server". So ive tried closing the game and all my browsers, restarting the computer, and thats about it.... i did find out that i left the game window on when i packed up to go home for the weekend, and the computer couldnt 'sleep' while it was up..... (if that has anything to do with it). maybe it doesnt like switching wifis, or just that my wifi (at home) some how blocks the game, but not the browsers (or any of my other pc games for that matter).
