Enders Connection Refused! Vanilla works fine tho?

So i've managed to make exceptions to allow the vanilla client pass through java security, but when i try Enders mod, i get a "connection refused" message when i try to log in... do i need to make extra exceptions or is there something else that needs to be done, cause i'd like to make use of Enders mod since i have it...
