Oh look, another Mac/java problem

Postby Mikek22 » Mon Aug 24, 2015 12:08 am

Hey guys, sorry if this has been addressed before. I tried my best to search the forums for an answer but didn't see one. I admit, I can be pretty computer illiterate.
So after a few days of being able to open the game but only seeing the dreaded white screen, I tried opening the game today; it first looked like the game was opening, and then I and saw this (sorry about the size) :

There was no choice for me to do anything except deny. I have havenandhearth url on my exceptions list, I can't change my java security to anything other than high or very high, and on attempts to install older Java versions I pretty much can't. Anyone have any fix options, or should I just give up and hope with the Alpha release some things will be fixed? Thanks for your time.

Haha, yes I have been looking to get a pc for gaming, but that would be a purchase centered around my Christmas bonus so I was hoping for a quick fix in the meantime.

Yeah, I've kept that box checked, and when I go back to that menu, it's always unchecked again. And I have that url and the
Code: Select all
https://www.havenandhearth.com/portal
in the exceptions as well but no dice.

I will check out the Wizards Tower subforums though, thanks.
