Destroying boats when people are in them

You can destroy boats when there are people in them. They will get stuck and cant move. They will also drown if they dont even have swimming bought. You can also destroy boats when your in a boat yourself.

will be a suction like force that will pull
you down with it if you aren't far enough

They will get stuck and cant move.

What exactly does this entail? Stuck and losing stamina? Or just stuck and can hearth.

They get stuck in a small 2x2 invisible box, which makes it so they can wander in there but not leave.

Heh, I just experienced this. I was stuck with my passenger until the other guy drowned. This may be a problem similar to when two people enter a cabin and get stuck.

A big problem is that demolition of a boat continues even after the boat moves far away from the person demolishing.

This is a general bug, not only with boats, but ofc its the most lethal one with boats.
It even occurs when youre making a runestone and someone carries your boulder away. It will turn into a runestone above his head!
