Cows not eating grass properly

Postby Potjeh » Tue Dec 22, 2009 2:38 pm

OK, I just logged in to find my cow dead. She was supposed to get a calf tomorrow :( I still have my bulls, though

Anyway, I missed a feeding due to ISP issues, so I would blame myself. Except there was enough grass for it to eat, and there's still grass in the pen after she died. See the image (no, I didn't replant any grass, I just filled the through now):

Any chance of getting her revived?

*edit*
And now I've observed my bulls eating the grass even though I had filled the through. There's something seriously buggy here.

Seems like they behave as hungry even if they actually eat the grass

The other day I let the through run dry so I could refill it with better q fodder (seriously, loftar, would it be that expensive to use a float instead of an int?). There were some dirt patches from the grazing. When I took a look at my cattle, the bulls had their bars full, but the cow had lost about 20% of the red bar. I'm guessing the red bar is health, and this leads me to believe that cows don't graze at all.
