died or bug?

my friend was chopping some wood into boards and suddenly was sent to the character select screen and her character was gone, she reloged and still no character, only the [New Character] button was available so she did that and we went and found her other character still standing up next to the wood, her hearth fire was still going until i reloged and then it was out
this was a couple days ago and i just checked now and her character is now a skeleton
my question is how did she die and where was the make descendant option?
she says hunger was on green and she had shoes on so couldn't have been a thorn, those are the only ways i know to take damage.

When she was still standin after dying, she almost certainly starved to death. Might be she was low on stamina, this is draining hunger quite fast.

Could be leeches too.

THe option is on a Runestone in the creation chamber. And yeah, that's a bit wierd. Other ways to take damage are leeches. If someone had killed her she'd have been KO'ed before being murdered unless she was already very low on HP. Other than Leeches, Starving, or getting 1 hit because you have low HHP from maybe an archer that was hiding are the only things I can think of that fit this scenario.

Not if her hunger was on green, as he said. The only other meters with green bars, village authority and happiness, probably wouldn't be mistaken as hunger. Otherwise, she could have lost track of how long she'd been working, but once you're aware of hunger you check fairly often, I think.

And don't leeches knock you out when they've taken all your SHP?

No they don't. They take you down to 1 or 2 and start dealing HHP damage.

i think she must ave been mistaken about how much was in the hunger bar and has starved
