I've okayed that. It could be argued that it shouldn't be possible, but that should in that case be solved via some sort of fix to walls, rather than via dev intervention.

I agree devs shouldn't hand fix shit like this. It's right up there with double piling cabins. Some things should have a forced building barrier so that cabins can't be exploited like this.

The world I love The tears I drop To be part of The wave can't stop
Ever wonder if it's all for you
The world I love The trains I hop To be part of The wave can't stop
Come and tell me when it's time to

You don't need a mountain to do this. You can do it in a far larger capacity by stacking cabins. I shoudl have also said that this should apply to brick walls. I'm an advocate of buffing brick walls but not as long as this exploit is viable.

Thats what i would consider an exploit, while this here is clever use of game mechanics(in other words abuse). Why do you think castles were built on mountains, because its easier tzo defend them.

No I agree that the game should provide defensive advantage to players and that mountains should somehow supplement that. I think a lot of things should be different than they are currently and only that when things are finally balanced this should not be possible.
