Bugged Mine

We have a cave with a mine in it, however the mine is apparently stuck within the wall outside of the ground area. We can't get to it. Is there some way this can be fixed? I'm not sure how you can locate specific places in the game, but the cave is nearby my character's Hearthfire. Her name is Ayame.

Caves are all on one map. So when you prospect in a cave it isn't necessarily in the cave you are in. Try searching nearby caves.

Look harder and farther, caves can be HUGE so if there aren't any caves nearby, look further away.

Thank you for the advice, Chak, but all the other caves in the area have minimal amounts of material in them. This is the highest one. It may sound a bit greedy, but we are hoping for a more definitive resolution to this problem than "look harder."

You're not looking hard enough.

The caves are all on ONE map. So you may have an 85% reading and be at a wall, but the mine is located in a cave not accessible through the certain cave you are in.

You need to scout the surrounding area OUTSIDE the cave for OTHER caves where the mine may be located.

Apparently you did not read the whole message. The OTHER caves in the area OUTSIDE have an even smaller percentage throughout them. This cave is the highest in the area.

If you care to read the thread, you will see that others have already given the same suggestion.

Then maybe you should listen to them. They DO know what they are talking about. Chak is quite the prospecter, and one of the more knowledgeable people in this game.

Are you checking the whole cave, and not just walking inside and prospecting and going "Not here!"? Because the entrance could be far away, but then it loops around and comes closer to the other location where you're getting the 85%.

Seizure, I apologize for being rude earlier, but I promise you that the other caves in this area have been searched... They give even lower results at their highest point than this one does at the entrance. Being relatively new to this game I made this post under the guidance of another knowledgeable player in game who told me the mine was bugged.

RaptorJedi, yes we looked through the whole cave. It gave 63% at the entrance, and 85% at the highest point we could find.

Would a mine entrance on the surface, out of the cave, make an impact on the % in the caves?
