Kin taking from 'shared claim' concidered thief

Postby Rift » Mon Jun 15, 2009 1:54 am

As said, one of our town members has a shared claim, and another town member took from it [who was on his kin list]... but it generated a thief scent... Thus sending us on a crazy hunt with the 'thief' in the party which you can imagine is quite humourous.. [it always pointed towards them, which ment i thought the person was in a ever changing direction.. >.< until i figured it out]
In any event.. this strikes me as a bug, since i doubt its intended for shared claims to make crimes of people who take from them and are on kin list.. [isnt that the point of sharing them]

That's more than a fantastically amusing image you just painted for us :D. Chasing your own tails

I still think the "thief" took something before it was shared. Couldn't find any clues on other (often used) shared claims.

seems the thief was me, but i cant remember having anything taken!

but it was fun when i heard we were actually chasing myself, running like crazy through half h&h and suspecting different villages and ppl. heh

I had a similar problem. I hadn't built a kiln yet so I went on to a kin's claim to use theirs. I filled it with my own wood and materials but when I came back and took the burnt clay products back it left a thief scent. D:
