Dissappering Chest

I pulled my Chest out of a boat and right clicked to go into my Timber House i was right at the door and the game crashed. When i logged back in the Chest was gone,I checked the boat and in and outside of the house. Just for fyi the chest contents were a freshly skinned/butchered bear.
