Fishing lines

As i understand it stinging nettles now counts as "string", but i couldn't equip it on a fishing rod.

I'm pretty sure that spindly taproot are the ones that count as string, but maybe they both do? I read somewhere that loftar didn't like being able to make something or another out of a nettle and a root, so he might have changed it.
