Game Crashed and Lost Boat I was Carrying

I was walking while lifting a boat and then game crashed on me and I tried to log back in. It said I was already on, but I managed to get back on.

Now the boats MISSING! All of the stuff in that boat are gone with it too! I looked around and it's not anywhere.

Any chance I can get my stuff back?

I did and my boat wasn't even where my guy crashed. Basically 5 squares when my game died out. No boat

that's a known bug - if you forcibly disconnect (client closed, client crashed, reboot etc.) while carrying anything, the carried object is destroyed. if carrying a container, all contains are destroyed, too.

Not always... and what's even more strange... if you were carrying a boat nearby your settlement, the server crashes and the boat is gone, go look in the nearest cellar.

To be more precise, carried objects get destroyed if they cannot be placed down only (@ sudden logout). I dont know about rollbacks and boats.
