Metal cauldron disappears

It's gone! It was not red yesterday as i remember and noone can steal it because it was inside two palisade walls (and there is much more valuable things to steal). Do it have only one decay hitpoint? This behavior extremelly strange for item made from 6 bars of metal. Or just don't shows its decay state?

Yep, have a metal cauldron that was acquired yesterday, and today it was in too poor condition to be used, only it didn't show the slightest sign of any damage.

I too have noticed that metal cauldrons decay way too fast considering they are made out of friggin METAL..I always keep mine inside of a house
