Can't log in from where I logged out

I was walking to a village of one of my friends (it's taken me an hour or two) and I just randomly crash (the game did). I try to log bag in from where I was, but it won't let me. I do not want to log back in from my hearth fire which is miles away.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Probably not.

If you were carrying something it landed where you were and now you can't log in there because it is in the way. If this is the problem and you had a traveling companion they could move the thing and you could try again.

If you were in someone else's territory you can't log back in because that violates the tresspassing rules.

So you are probably stuck with it.

I wonder if Jorb would be a nice guy and move me to the village I'm going to. I doubt it though :c

Try waiting a few minutes in case some glitch has cause you to still be logged in at that spot or something.... Weird crashes can do weird things.

But you are probably a victim of the unstable server.

I've been getting this randomly when I log out normally. I sleep/logout in a bed and half the time I have to hearth fire to log back in.

i cant log in where i logged out i was waiting for my friend to give me rights when the sever crashed and i don't want to hearth fire.
(if anyone has a idea come and tell me walking back is not one way i would like to do)

I've had the same issue. Only, it's not that I am entirely unable to Log in from where I logged out, but that it doesn't allow me to do so for a long time after I have logged out and later on it will randomly allow me to.

Perhaps this is some sort of spam-prevention?

Update: If you logged out with something lifted and you drop it where you logged out, someone will have to move it in order for you to be able to login again.

Just got logged off due to idle resting on a chair in front of my home and can't log back either. It's the 2nd time i get this today and 2nd boat i have to build near my hearth fire. It's so damn annoying, devs pls fix this

I've had this happen multiple times, couldnt log back into my bed.
