May 10th Rollback Reimbursement.

Postby Casmi » Mon May 10, 2010 1:39 pm

Hi, this is my first time posting. Long time reader. I'm sure there are a ton of us hit by the last 4 day rollback pretty hard depending on the amount of success we have had in those few days. I'm totally down with the fact we're testing the game for a reason and we shouldn't get tied down to all of our adorable belongings. I'm okay with grinding back up all the goodies and stats. But did ya have to kill my bull Alistair? He didn't do anything! He was just tied to my bran new Wagon chomping on carrots when the crash hit taking him away like a tornado to pixel heaven. I'm from the USA, and am posting out of a sense of entitlement, as I'm sure there are a ton of people that got hit by this much harder than me. But if it's one thing you don't get in the way of, it's an American and his hamburgers. So if a new fat bull showed up in my pen tonight named "Shut-up" or "You'll get what we give you" I'd look the other way and keep grinding like a good little beta tester, but if not?! I'll probably just cry and continue to grind while eating chicken passive aggressively. Anyone else wanna share their pain?

Sorry to disappoint, but we're alpha testers.

over all the rollbacks together well over 1200 orso of my silk worms and eggs have died, suck it up nobody here is "entitled" to or has a right to anything. thats because we are alpha testers, that means we accept its in its earliers form, well before even being properly functional and accept that everything we have can be deleted at any moment, dont accept it? stop being a alpha tester and quit till we reach the beta phase, though thats not happening any time soon.

Ouch that's a ton of silk, sorry to hear that happen. I have no real concept of how much that loss is, but the entire post was laced with humor, didn't mean to dredge up the previous rollbacks but I do believe in rock and roll.

Yeah funny thing about it all isn't really about the strife we endure or the struggles we overcome, the stats we have to regrind or the overpowering grief and raiding. My plight isn't uncommon or justified. Seriously. It's about getting phat lewts we don't deserve. I'm going to need more than a wave of stoicism to help shake our two devs for my Cow and uh...those 2 Iron mines that we both just lost, remember? help me out?

I hear tell some people managed to dupe a few hundred trays of cheese. You win some you lose some as they say.

I also blame the devs for not finishing their job. Don't just kill a man's bull, kill the man, too.
