Indestructible Tree Sapling

I first posted in the How Do I forum about a problem I have with a stunted tree sapling that I can't get rid of.

I had a few suggestions in there, but nothing that worked. I'm starting to think this might be a bug rather than something that I don't know how to do. Is there any help available here for this problem? The tree is stunted at stage 1, chop does nothing, plowing does nothing, plowing then restarting the client does nothing.

It's a bug that has persisted since world 2. I think, in world 1, it was possible to cut those down, but I am not certain.

I seem to recall Malicus (our World 1 forest-ie guy) complaining about stunties littering his place, so I think it's been there since the dawn of time.

Or since tree planting was implemented, anyway.
