Empty maps

So I drew a map of my local area.. and it went through fine and everything, but when I opened it to look at the map it was completely blank. Nothing was there. Really wierd, has this happened to anyone else? I mean It says I made a map, but apaprently I made a completely blank map.

If it's not a piece of blank parchment then it's just the map server not being as responsive as one would like. It was lagging a bit a couple of hours ago so that was probably what's going on. Try looking at the map later or just wait a while for the map section to load.

Or Loftar has wiped all maps which havn't been accessed for a certain timespan, again.
