Barrel inside mansion wall.

Problem:

A barrel with q51 water for food purpose is stuck inside my wall near the entrance.

Cause:

My alt was carrying the barrel into the mansion bu I did not move him yet. I alt-tabbed out for about 30 seconds before discovering that the game auto-booted him. Looking upon my main character's screen, I saw the barrle had dropped at a location outside the bounds f the mansion inside the wall. In short, logging off with a barrel caused it to drop at a random location including area that cannot be walked into.

Note: I would have thought it would drop at the log off spot rather than random location. Was this changed?

Iirc this was changed to make relog possible 'where you logged off' while carrying boats and getting booted from the server.

This is an old bug, seems like when you log off holding something liftable inside the house and near the wall, it goes at some random place. I've got a *ahem* few boulders stuck in my house walls like that, adn there was a report of a guy who lost a boat that way.

i think he solved that propblem with running towards the chest, disconnect right before hitting the wall, and fast reconnect after passing it. (i never tried, but well, you have to be fast then)

LOL!! So the idea is that when you reconnect you are in the wall having lifted the object? And then you can travel to Hearth Fire?
