Randomly returned ot log in screen

This only started happening today, and I suspect it has something to do with the fact I'm using an older rig. Seems as I walk about town I'm returned to the log in screen sporadically. If I try to log in immediately it will say I'm already logged in. If I wait a bit I can log back in just fine. Pretty damn annoying to have to repeat this nonsense every 5 minutes. Help?

It is probably just caused by general congestion. When the server's internet connection is at its busiest, the packets from some clients simply won't reach it (especially when they are idle and send only a few packets per minute). It does seem to be worse for some people than for others, though; I'd guess that's just because of the shape of the intertubes in between.

TL;DR: Not much to do about it, except for upgrading the server bandwidth.

It depends. We're desperately trying to find a reasonable, local, not very costly solution to the bandwidth problem, but in case we really cannot manage to find one, we're considering dedicated hosting. In the latter case, we'll most definitely need money thrown at us.

good, plenty of people ready to start trowing money at you if that means no more lag like this and semi daily crashes.
