Hey,

I have this cliff here which I can walk on and I paved it but my fence refuses to be built on it, I even tried removing a piece of the fence and creating a seperate corner thing but that didn't work, see attachment.

Its a bug. You can't build to a cliff. Sometimes you can, sometimes you can't, its just luck.

Good that I posted it here then, quite annoying as it renders the fence quite useless.
