Everyone I see, I see his/her name as ???, except for one person I met first. What can I do about it?

Right click the person and select "add Kin" If they are kin you will see their name.

Also it is possible to bring them up on your kin list with the red heart button and give to them the nickname so you will tell them apart if they do not want to be kin.
