Crops growing on paved land/inside walls

Recently I paved some land that had already planted crops on it and then put a palisade up. I noticed that my crops continued to grow regardless of some of them being on paved tiles and some being inside my palisade. Since I doubt it was meant to be that way I'd guess you could call it a "bug." It doesn't really cause any issues or problems while playing but I just thought I'd point it out. You can't plant on paved tiles but if you pave over some crops that are growing already they continue to grow, blahblahblah.

Wouldn't that make repairing your palisade annoying because you end up clicking the crops with the repair tool instead of the palisade itself?

And to answer the OP, I don't think it's a bug. You can harvest the crops that you paved over as well, but you can't harvest them when you build something over them.
