That thread, thankfully although belatedly closed, is replete with 4chan-level racist humor. Whatever. Anonymous idiots will be idiots.
But to have one of Haven & Hearth's own developers indulge in it too is just appalling.

I've really enjoyed the game so far. I was in fact planning on buying it once my free hours were up. But I can't support a game which developers post this sort of imagery. Don't care if it's for the lulz. It's just stupid, crass, and, yes, racist. If Seatribe's peeps don't have it in them to behave sensitively towards all people on a public forum (try it; it's not too hard and it makes a whole world of difference), then I sure don't have it in me to play or support their work.

My intention was, precisely, to express how I found the thread in question to be of shockingly low quality.

As a general observation the totalitarian trends of Modern American-Imperial discourse, with its racialist and identitarian overtones, worry me deeply.
