My first day in HnH 2.0

I enjoyed it.

The graphics are really cool. I like the pencil shading-ish look to everything. The character movements are amazing compared to the old game. Really, everything is improved graphically and interactively in my opinion.

I have no idea what I'm doing. I made my guy. Walked around for a bit. Got a stick and stone. Bought foraging. And then I couldn't figure out how to build a lean-to.

I think I'm going to pause my adventuring for a few updates/bugfixes to roll in. I didn't have any issues but I don't want to get used to the controls or get into the world to have it nuked. I don't have enough free time to be a decent tester anyway.

Buy the game. There's something good here.

Feel free to post your own first day or if you've returned to the game after a hiatus like myself or how much you like the way my prose flows and alliterates the illiterates.

Hahaha I just saw the Protest sign item in the Store. That's fucking fantastic.

First day of H&H: met several naked people, chatted with them all, discovered that I suck at lighting fires, and fell in love with roadsigns.

My first day was spent more on skype than in the game. Organized location efforts and mapping and we set to work locating one another. Quickly figured out that the starting area was tiny by deducing that all of the hearthfires were centralized in one area and became non-existent in any direction after a short walk. Took a bit to locate everyone even with all of that but we found each other and we started setting up our home.

I am talking more than playing too, but it has always been that way if you have a decent sized group of people to manage.

My first day was spent eating everything I could find when I discovered that everything gave you FEP. Got my stats balanced out, started pushing stats into exploration and survival. Better curios, better lp and all that. Met some naked people. Made friends with said naked people. Explained how to friend request to new naked friends. Raided some anthills. Was nearly convinced that rocks were extinct when I couldn't find one at all when I first spawned. Felt so stupid asking a random person "where are rocks?"

I love being able to climb and descend cliffs. I also love being able to hunt with a bow and not some wimpy sling even though my q104 sling back in H&H was pretty sick. ;)

Anyone want to team up and do some good in the realm?

I ate everything I found too. That was my biggest mistake so far. It would be a good advice to newbies to eat as little as possible till they get better food and just push some perc and int.

Also Mr. Taylor if you are looking for a group hit me up in a pm. Just a lot of old veterans in our group basicallym but pretty much casual larpers because not many of us have a lot of time at heir hands.

I just walked around the woods, picking & eating Blueberries as I found them.

Just as I do IRL :D
