Worlds normally restart only when a few things happen, some mager update that needs the world to restart, the server crashes badly causing issues, something in the data gets corrupted. Right now I doubt any of the three ways is gonna happen.

Given the fact we're actually paying for the game now, I sincerely hope not. There is a question when it's "completed" to have a different sever for newer players, or jorb can make the world bigger. I'd like to see how big the world can get.

Im totally fine with a world restart if its going to bring a whole buncha new stuff with the world gen. Stuff like new boulder mechanics and nonsense such as that.
It also gives me the oh-so-untrue feeling that I'm on the same level as the pros for a while.
I paid the devs money because i trust them to make the right decisions, and if they think a world restart is needed, I can work with that.

I do not see a world restart happening anytime soon the only reason why they would do that is if they're going to upgrade the server hardware with the money they're making if it's a decent amount should be able to do that
