after many many hours of searching I finally found an ore rock! black ore at that! I thought they were all gone

Na, there are still lots of ore rocks all over the place. Friends and neighbors bump into them when out exploring occasionally. Last one found by people I know was earlier today even. Glad you got one though, check the area for more! =D

Because everyone gobbles them up the second that they see them. Don't deny it, you totally will too. =)

I heard that rocks will regen after some time.. is that true? and how long does it take to regen one stage?

According to loftar they shouldn't but I guess we'll see. I swear I've seen rocks regenerate but who knows, I haven't done any formal tests on them to prove it.

the reason I asked is because I got a stone rock back before I knew anything and carried it to my base.. now I cant lift it anymore but was wondering if it was the norm or not

Yeah, I swear I've seen this behavior too, but loftar said that shouldn't work. I guess try it out with your new ore rock. Fingers crossed that it works!
