I'm fucking done with that shit. Really. It's already 26 days since the start of the world, and the only thing I found is a pearl. I really loved to collect mussels and get those yummy pearls, and I never used any bot at all except fucking hunger bot. Pearl gives 5k lp and it's so rare that you are not going to have a pearl necklace that probably gives some shit like charisma ever. Why I should even try to fucking collect mussels if it doesnt provide any profit to me? Why I should play that shit game that gives no reward to me but only pain in my ass due to a lot of things? Ok, fuck pearls, but what about other curios? Bluebells, edels, flotsams? Why cant I get it? Because you created some dumb fucking system that gives nothing to a lot of players like me and that's WORKING LIKE INTENDED. I'm playing casual, you can check out my total lp on the account. I'm not a grinding machine that scouts all the swamps and mountains 24/7, but that playstyle gives me nothing. Nolifers and botters still gonna get much more profit than I do. There are people that are bot farming glimmer already. You changed nothing. You just fucked up all the players, especially casuals. You have deleted most profitable curios from the game and gave no alternative for that. 10/10.
I really needed to write that thing. I'm so sad that this shit happened to Hafen. I was waiting for this game for a long time, but now I'm thinking that I'm not going to pay for the next month.

Considering the stance on the matter that any info on the mechanic we get will be detrimental to how easily people will bot, i would like to highly suggest that Loftar add some counters to characters to see how many of these rare curios they actually get/see when technically able to see them (sufficient perc x exp). I'd hate to think that you guys are too busy developing new content to check that the old one that is top sikret for fear of easier botting ability is running indeed as intended. Such a balance in sikret systems will guarantee future enjoyment of the game by everyone. Please don't just do what you did in Salem and pile on new content without polishing old one.

Now for some anecdotal info : I've yet to see anything but 1 bolete on my latest character. Previous one only got one bluebell and maybe 3 boletes, no pearls, never a flotsam, and I think 1 glimmer. This excitement you hope to offer players when they finally get a rare curio is hugely offset by the fact we get so few good curios to make a difference in our progress. Get one bluebell and a glimmer late game and you're barely ahead of your neighbour that hasn't gotten lucky with those, so why be excited if it's such a small portion of our LP gain.

Mussels should be worth collecting in and of themselves. And I have to admit, they're not a bad dex food anymore (buffed from legacy I think).

Some recipes that require a lot of cooked mussels (crockpot style stuff? chowders) would further make the obscene bounty of mussels worth collecting.

+1, i have a cupboard full of cooked mussels as of now, and a bunch of them on the table too. still no pearl. i keep collecting them.

I havent found any bluebell,edel,pearl like anything that affects fate propably and I got 100 dex on my crafter just by collecting the mussels + about 100h of playtime. Fate sucks.
