Vitality 45 rabbit with 12 survival

I was hunting rabbits near my house, where a friendly fox started to help me.
A rabbit was killed by the fox and when placing it in storage i see that it has 10/10/45 quality.
My survival is only 12

Is this normal or a bug?

The same happened to me with a q50 rabbit. I thought that could mean that the rabbit had the same q as the ground, like with forageables in haven legacy. Buti couldnt check it because it happened in a beach. So i've claimed it just in case because when they implement it maybe ill have a q50 sand node. But its just an idea.

Survival shouldn't apply to picking the animal anyway just to skining and butchering it. Thank the fox and ask why bears don't hunt deer for us as well.

Ok nice to know that It's ok :).
Guess ik make a new bonesaw from the rabbits bone.
Hopefully i get more help from the cute foxes in the future :).

Bears that hunt other creatures would be cool actualy.

Boars should aggro bears and then if multible boars aggro bears they will die or something wait what :shock:
