Or 1 subscribed accounts.
I am curious, I kinda of made my forager 1 account, fighter 1 account, craftsman 1 account, so I don't think monthly sub will work for me.
Edit: so the consensus seems to be, verified craftsman, and subbed miner, forager, and fighter.
I'll probably get 1 or 2 verified, since I honestly don't need so much time for sub.

I tried managing my play time to see if i could make it with just a verified account, but 2 hours a day just doesn't cut it. Sub is the way to go.

Actually, that's exactly what i'm doing too. Though i also have backup combat alts.

1 main fighter subbed. A high skilled crafter shared between me and mightysheep can be subbed or free play depends how often we use him. Normally subbed though.
And my back up free play char which has mediocre fight stats. Just incase...

I think if you want to pvp or socialise in game you really need to sub, even if you only want to do it locally you don't want to get screwed in an emergency.
made the mistake of putting a miner on a free account, mining low levels is easier now so it may not be an issue anymore,idk, but had to verify him early world so as not to slow down our brickwall.
crafting/farming: haven't run out of time on a free account, although you have to be a little careful.
as an aside: some people i know have got a lot of sub time purely from trade, but you probably have to sub for a while before you can do that.
