What the actual fuck is wrong with you people? What is this weird vendetta you have against allowing foraging to be a viable, useful skill?
Day 1-3 of W9 starting.
I got my explo high enough to see Flotsam. I enjoyed finding a healthy amount of Flotsam for those few days (About 4-5 per days, after spending 8-10 hours on the water which is completely reasonable). It was reminiscent of Legacy Haven&Hearth.
Then, sometime after that, Flotsam just disappeared. I was finding one or none a day despite spending a similar amount of time on the water. No word about this change at all.
Now recently, I have been substituting going in the water to look for worthwhile curios, to going in caves for Glimmermoss since that is the ONLY worthwhile foragable curiosity that was worth finding after Flotsam became bullshit rare.
I was picking up about 3 Glimmermoss from our cave system every visit (So every 6 hours or so).
Now? Nothing. Nada. Again, no word about changing it, hoping nobody would notice no doubt.
There's a mere 400 people on now. One would have thought the most controversial thing that made the last worlds numbers drop to almost nothing would not be snuck back into the game, but yes, it has, and it's even worse.
Why is my carpenter, who already has the benefit of making extremely useful shit for our village also being allowed to beat out my forager in terms of curiosities he can provide? Foragers bring fuck all of worth to a village. I can't find enough good curiosities to keep on in my own studies, nevermind for anybody else.
Time to go on a quick murder spree then quit the game. You idiots clearly have no fucking clue what you're doing if you can't stop nerfing the ever living shit out of foraging when it's already trash.
You don't want people farming glimmermoss? Then perhaps you should not nerf the only good enough alternative to it. There's fucking nothing to find and I say this as a guy with maxed out Per*Exp.
