Bug Raided

Aww... left the gates open and somebody managed to bug raid even though there is no minehole or charterstone. Time to keep the gates shut :cry:

Impossible. Maybe you had criminal acts enabled in your claim for the white group? Jorb already patched every possible way to get over visitor debuff.

I am not looking for compensation, just letting people know there is still a bug out there somebody is managing to exploit.
I have two segments to my base and the stolen items were from inside a house, in cabinets and in the smelter.

I looked for scents and there are none. A neighbor witnessed the thief and even got his name, but I will not post it.

Be aware that open gates are not safe, you will likely be next if you leave them open.

Open your village/pclaim rights and show a picture of permissions for players in the white group.
If there are no scents then most likely they had permissions. Perhaps you or someone from your village had the thief in their party? It's better to find a solution now instead of wasting dev hours looking for a bug that may not be there.

only 3 people have permissions and they all life in this house with me. That would be a waste of time. I know for a fact this is a bug raid.

Well so much for wanting to get to the bottom of things. It'd take you all of 5 seconds to screenshot your permissions window and help people troubleshoot what went on. Granted, I thought the "village starts out with permissions to white kins" bug was fixed last world. I remember passing by one of the last villages to get sploited that way, the mirkwood place.

Other possibilities are, as have been already suggested, that you (the claim owner) had a person partied at some point, not sure if the permissions persist till they log out like salem used to do it, or if the permissions go away. If a town claim, others could've had people partied just as well, and the person could've (if the log out thing works) stayed online till he had an opportunity to steal.

You didn't say wether you have a town, presuming so since you mentioned charter stones, but I don't get the two segments thing, and depending on layout there could be breachable or exploitable places in different spots. As for the no scent thing, they could have epic stealth levels and whatever else was needed to make scents harder to detect. Use a high perc character.

This must be kept in mind. I have a character with 108 effective PER and 50 EXP, and recently someone stole salt from my node without any visible scents. At first I figured it was just slow in regenerating, but after a while I found it suspicious and checked my other salt node, and indeed it had already regenerated whereas the other was empty. (My two salt nodes always regenerate at the same time.) There are people with really high Stealth levels out there.
