I have to say that if it is truly good, then the posted video doesn't really do it justice; it looks mostly just like a random hack-and-slash.

What is good about it?

The game probably has the worst combat system out of all mmos, and its still better than hafens :cry:

How is spamming of the same attacks on and on again with an unstable shaky camera better (or even comparable) than the system here?

Darkfall Unholy Wars was a ton of fun when it actually had players

Adventurine is literally the worst company though so the game failed due to lack of communication and shit patches

New Dawn and Rise of Agon are the original versions of Darkfall which AV sold to two seperate dev companies to try their best with.
Sadly, RoA has been down for quite a while due to security issues (all the same hacks still existed from UW and the original game and there is basically no cheat detection in place)

The games are very playable but there's a steep learning curve

I have seen this game with different name some 2-3 time now. Do they keep selling rights? Is it just imitator? Is IP in public domain? Same developer reboot every year?

How is this not abusable as fuck with client mods, though? Does it just rely on ingame moderation and heuristic cheat detection?
