Where Onep Has Went?

Postby Ysh » Thu Aug 11, 2016 8:47 pm

Hello again to you all my forum friends,

As you may be hopeful knowing I am think of all friends on forums to be friends of mine. You are all very important to me and I am caring for you much. But it seem some of us have go miss recently? I am talking about this poster is named Onep. Some sleuthing indicate to me he has no posted since some Wed Aug 03, 2016 5:03 pm. I think this is maybe unlike his character to be not make postings for very long. Given he has talk much about suicide in past (especial with pushing some suicide feature into game), I am worry that maybe he is has some morbid fascination with suicide and death. This I think is disturbing to me and I am nervous maybe he may have kill himself or does consider it.

I do not want this to be true and hope it is not too late if this is case. If you are feeling alienated Onep and are still read forums, know that we are care for you very much. There are people who will miss you to go and I hope you may reconsidered any bad killing thoughts you have for yourself. Remember one time you call me your brother:

Right on brother! America!

And I like to think this is still true. So please, as your brother is telling you, please stay here with me and with us your friends on forum. I hope you are safe.

Thanks to you all for the consideration here.

If someone is that close to suicide, they shouldn't be in this forum, they should be getting professional counseling.

I think if some man is depressed, it can be important for them to continue hobby and interact with loved one. Maybe you do not give advise in area you do not know about?

Actually I have three incidents that is worth noting of the subject

- I have witness a fanfic artist that genuinely was that close to ending his life and the signs were vividly clear. It was the readers, reviews, and especially his co-writers that was able to convince him to stop.
- One of my friend's brother was also very depressive to the point that he was contemplating doing so. However, subtle signs were noticed and we were able to get to him and convince him to not go in that path.
- more than 6 years ago, I was in that category. I still bear the scar today. The reason: total academic disaster in my first university. I decided to stop because I realized that it would be far more destrucrtive around me if I went through it and also because I really cannot bring myself to do so. No one had realize it. Fortunately, the experience had also change a part of my mind for the better. While it helped me shape me how I am now, I would not want to go through that thought process again...

So how you can suggest this Onep stay away from friends and family and thing he enjoys to do in this case?

I really hope he has something in his real life. Realistically, we can only do so much online-wise and the real solution comes from within ones life outside of the internet. (in the case of the fanfic writer, the co-writers notified his family of what he was thinking)
