Marking all rubble tiles when mining with stone stockpile works very nice 99% of the time. 1% of the time you end up forgetting that you "temporarily" took out one pile for some reason and thenmine from it, causing cave-in.

Hunting from the river. Noticed a nice fat boar. Debark, aggro, run back to the boat. Picking up a corpse of the last boar instead on embarking. Panicked, dropped the boar, clicked on the boat again; no good - picked up another dead animal instead. Knocked out, left with 4 HP.
