I've seen a lot of discussion about this subject, so i thought it would be interesting to see where everyone stands on it. Instead of just the loudest in the community

Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Well, now the devs are just being stubborn. The promised combat changes were barely changes at all.
If we don't pester them for world reset for a couple of weeks, they might forget about our nagging an reset the world.
So hush..

If they want an eternal world, things such as pavement should decay once no longer claimed. Perhaps even elevation. It's always weird to come across a large area of pavement but literally nothing else left around. Trees should also have a regeneration cycle. And obviously, stat caps need to be re implemented. Nothings more retarded than getting 2 hit by some guy with 6x your stats. Regarding stat caps as well, perhaps only combat stats should be capped? That'd let your equipment and such scale to allow for some growth.

Thats actually great idea. MC and UA only ones to be capped, that is.

Yeah lets have reset every 1 week! Good idea.
Fuck all people who want reset. They should quit game permanently.
Only reason why they want reset is that they are too scrub and get killed/raided early game and then ragequit.
Then they start begging for reset and when it finally comes they play for 1 week and then get killed. Then they start begging for another one.
Ban ALL world reset related discussion on all subforums in any form please.

There is no good reason for world reset. Absolutely none.
Theres plenty of free land to settle, as world was recently expanded.
Theres lots of metals and stuff to mine and trees to chop.

You might say that other players lead you in ql, but so what?
If you are scrub that cant keep up with them, world reset does not help you.
1 week and they have way bigger stats and qualities than you...

Resetting world is like eating pain killers when you have been shot somewhere.
It might help temporarily but effect is not long lasting and results in nothing good.

stat caps in an eternal world are the dumbest thing ever especially if theyre permanent, if someone has 6x your stats they should definitely be able to two shot you. i think agility is capped though so ven if you have like 20x youd only get like a 20% more advantage.

i think if they have an eternal world they should increase the stat cap as the world progresses say it starts at 300 2months later goes to 600 or something and so on this way even people who are just starting are able to catch up to the top guys, excluding ua/mc ofc but gilds help a lot with those two

How can one man be so salty. Almost as if he invested too much into this world.
Its a fact that world reset brings influx of players and having more people is what makes it fun.

I've seen the devs say they'd like a permanent world, which is quite frankly insane, without massive changes to the game and many core mechanics.

They also apparently "don't plan" on resetting the world any time soon, which is also insane and quite irritating to the majority of the playerbase, most of which will never play again otherwise
