Magic ants?

Postby azrid » Fri Oct 14, 2016 4:13 pm

Can someone explain why in this game chickens are weaker than ants?
Chickens are descendants of dinosaurs. If you ever held a rooster you know they can do damage to you.
Ants you just sweep away with a fir bough and you never have to worry about them.
Is it some kind of a mutation? What is the backstory? Any theories?

Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.

Ants are important to many organisms through their environmental and ecological impacts. Not only do ants turn more soil than earthworms, aid in decomposition, and disperse the seeds of many plants, but they also kill pest species. Therefore the Dryads in Haven blessed them with super strength to help in protecting and nurturing the trees and bushes from the destructive hearthlings, (pests). :)

That's my theory anyway. :D

You're fighting several, not just one. You can go into anaphylatic shock when you're bitten, especially as the bites stack (you stop breathing). And some ants have very painful bites so you can go into shock anyway simply due to pain. Insects in general, and ants more specifically, were used as an execution method by some people.
If anything, haven ants are too weak.

They can't be army ants since they have a nest.
