Replace swords and add a h2h weapon

Postby jordancoles » Fri Apr 21, 2017 8:56 am

With the recent KO mechanic being added to the game I feel that we need to update some of our current weaponry.

I would like to suggest that we replace all swords ingame with Pool Noodles

These are a nice and safe tool for some casual rough-housing and I personally feel that they are the fuel needed for endless fun

I would also like to request Socker Boppers for a future update; it might take a bit of extra dev time for the punch animations :ugeek:

I think this is the best idea I've seen you come up with yet JC.

Would be neat if they could come up with moves specific to dual wielding. Maybe even some kind of "unofficial" difference in fighting style. Where weaker chars are better off with sword + shield, stronger chars get more utility out of b12/dual wielding, etc.

Now that weaker chars aren't suiciding to try and fight, some adjustments to the fighting system to allow them to compete somehow would be cool (this is based off what I've read that combat is pretty stat based right now, not personal experience so take my opinion with a grain of salt).

Making certain tactics viable with lower stats is not the way to go tbh. Either you make it not viable enough and higher stats wins anyway, or you make it as viable as b12 with higher stats and everyone uses it without having to raise their stats.

The way to level the playing field is add surprise factor moves and punish mistakes. Making the combat system more skill based makes stats relatively less important.

Fun fact, these in no way protect against being punched in the face.

Yes! Skins! Maybe also add like a box or a safe that we can buy keys to for real $$$ and then randomly get a skin. So we can't just buy the one we want but have to trade and buy alot of boxes/safes?

Sweet deal! Pls take my moola $$$£££ ¦]
