The old graphics have a weird 2d charm to them. Objectively I think the new ones are better, but I still have fond memories of the old ones.

The current graphics are mostly better (I still hate mansions with a passion), but the animals became distinctly less cute.

I miss the animation for walking with a sword , you would walk all badass with the sword by your side but now you always hold it up and it's annoying it's like your arm is paralyzed it's kinda sad hopefully Jorb and Loftar make something with the weapon animations for example not slapping people with the handle of your sword or battleaxe in combat would be nice

Elevation is cancer tbh, it wasn't until surveys made flattening piss easy that anyone cared about elevation shit. And unliftable things falling into other objects wouldn't be a problem if logs had a hitbox.

The graphics in 2D haven were superior in every way.

TBH I like the new elevation, the new furniture is pretty rad, and most of the buildings are awesome. Hearthlings and animals are notably uglier than they used to be for the most part. Foxes and Deer did ok, and I like a lot of the newer animals. Trolls are as ugly as ever, but in a weird jorbian wax style.

One thing about the new game I'm not fond of is how the music is inconsistent. Like I can't listen to the various musics intentionally, or for prolonged periods. Sound/music has always been excellent in this game.
