It's been seemingly down-ish for a few days now (June 2), I suggest using a cache such as googles to access important information, but generally too much hasn't changed (aside from maybe combat and additions that you're better off seeking trough the millions of threads from announcements)

Not certain what you mean by this, but Ants are incredibly terrifying now with the new combat changes (even at 40~ stats they start getting very low damage trough after 3~5 hits, and don't care about armor)
boars and foxes are a joke though

Also push-out was added: viewtopic.php?f=39&t=57374 , which means you're probably not going to have issues with getting stuck in every single thing.

You can kill an ant with 1 ua and 10 stats. It took me like... 6 minutes and 1/3 of my shp.

So no, ants are still respectable until you get some stats

Starting combat by going for ants is worthless you are better off getting some beginner armor and fighting foxes.
