You can make all the excuses about why you would or wouldn't enjoy the game, but the truth is that you either do or don't and a change like this wouldn't matter. If you're skilled at combat, you can have lower stats and win. If you're not, it won't matter how many stats you have. You're going to get killed, either by wildlife or another player.
I say log in and play if you like the other aspects of the game. If you don't want to deal with the troubles of random PvP combat, find a faction that is stable to play with. Most have experienced fighters to deal with the combat.

If you have a developed character (enough INT for study attention), then yeah, otherwise it's going to be a lot longer, and that's still figuring you get a +150 bonus to your stat from various places. Without that bonus, it's going to be a lot more LP (upwards to 4x)

It is, at 1998 for practical combat purposes (assuming 999 base, +999 bonus). There is no actual limit you can raise it for the purposes of calculating quality. From
