Credo's, pathfinding, crazy combat anti-permadeath changes ...

Pretty sure it's been long enough, and enough new content has been added to atleast CONSIDER a world wipe.

Pretty certain they're reserving that for the big client optimization changes.

How much are you offering? I'm sure it's just a matter of finding the right amount ... maybe we could all pool our resources. :D

I don't see why any of those changes would require a new world.

If they would be really good changes, more people would come play the game because of them.
But they are not fixing the current problems. Lack of end game content and other stuff that causes people to play for just a short period of time. There's way too much grinding in this game for most people.

If devs make world reset only to get more players for short period of time, the game is doomed. It does not fix any problems, but might worsen them, people stop coming back to the game even when world resets because the problems that cause them to quit each time remain to be not fixed.

If devs decide to make a new world, they should at least try to do some major changes to world generation or some other things, that require a world reset.

It might also be that some people are afraid to start playing HnH, because they fear that world reset might come soon and wipe their progress.

They obviously don't require one, but with Credo's alone it could really change the early game dynamic, especially since permadeath is no longer a huge threat.

I totally agree that the game could use more endgame content, but I think at this point the "beginning game" is polished up enough to allow for a restart.

Yes, tbh.

because certain changes favorize certain side / sides while gives less to other
to make it more clear ill say it in another way
for example some curio gives 10K lp and is studied 1 hour
some people use it before change, some don't
then devs change it to 5K lp and 1 hour and if someone studies the same amout of curios as someone else after change they get less reward for it
and this is just one example, i am not sure if this one happened, but a bit of similiar changes did happen

edit: or they make certain change when it doesn't matter any longer because of what happened earlier
edit 2: here's a very old example XD

Fix combat before new world as well preferably.

All the mayflies among us scream for new world, play 2 months maybe and then leave.

People just want early-game simulator and I understand why but just rerolling everytime certain % of population is bored is stupid, if they improve on these subjects significantly and perhaps also do something with localized resources / claims then maybe we can look for restart.

But that's most likely months of developping.

:D ... tbh I don't actually care either way, I probably would if I had invested more in this world but I've barely played so have nothing in game I particularly care about this time around.
Saying that though ... ofc I do understand for those that have and am a supporter of the game eventually being able to sustain itself without needing to reset but the fact remains that for a large number of players it doesn't, it's only really the peaceful farmer types and larpers that stick around and even that eventually becomes tiresome because of the amount of time involved in maintaining everything makes the 'fun' begin to seem more like chores! A new world does at least bring back some challenges and excitement and some players! :)

I'm sort of in agreement with Headchef ideally ... it's just ... well, lets just say it isn't there yet. I think bring in the optimization changes and maybe christmas for a reset. :D
