Bee Larvae. HELP!

Postby Eiteri » Mon Feb 11, 2019 6:14 am

How to get "Bee larvae" ??! I understand that they are in "Wild Beehive" and that the hive needs to be plundered. But wild bees, 3-4 swarms, climb from it immediately. I thought that it would be enough to kill them (as with ants) and the path would be clear, but when they are again plundered, they again appear in the same quantity. Naturally, I no longer have HP to re-kill someone. The question arises whether there is an end to the swarms of bees, how many need to kill them so that the path is clear? How to make a home "beehive" early in the game? Or maybe I don `t know anything, maybe there is a secret?) Help please))

we just did it in a group, all try and raid and fight bees, if you have enough people 1 guy will be free to take larvae. bonus people can help fight da bees.

does seem pretty brutal mechanic for hermits, and in raising/expanding beehives as I think you always need to do this for every beehive even lategame? crazy.

It's damn near impossible to do by yourself without getting stung a bunch, should probably wait until they get nerfed to even bother.

Clear, thanks.) I assumed it. I’m not a hermit and it will make my life a little easier) I hope they will make a bee breeding mechanic at home, because it’s always so much trouble with hives to build a new one is too) especially considering that the quality of the hive affects wax and honey, and you will need to constantly update )

I honestly hope they don't, just that they nerf wild ones to a reasonable level.

Just a quick tip.
Some wild beehives are actually empty of any bees.

As a solo hermit :
- try to raid a beehive, preferably near shallow water, or with a horse.
- if bees spawn, just run to shallow water / run away
- if no bees spawn, profit

That man is a traitor, we'll have a serious talk with you in game!

I just wanted to ask people how lazy can a man be if you start crying after trying to raid one or two beehives? Explore the fucking game.

Experiment with it a bit, I can now do it without wounds with two people required.

As Dullah has already written, you can pillage a hive yourself, without any help. First you need to look at the hive, if another swarm of bees flies next to it - this hive will not work. You need one where the bees wind only around him. Usually, I begin to rob a hive, if the bees fly out of there and a picture of the attack appears, I run to the water and give up trying with this hive, moving on to the next one. In a random way, there is always a hive, from which the bees will not fly out, and you will quietly take the larvae. In this case, the attack animation will not appear.
