I'm so casual about HnH I don't even look at quality. By the time I'm far enough in to be worried about increasing my q I'm bored of the game and generally stop playing. My mining skill is still 10

it most certainly does not if thats how ore distribution works, you have infinite metal in 1 spot and fuk all in the other, honestly mapgen in this world is nothing short of disaster xD

on the contrary, the fact that metal might be limited to only the biggest factions soon enough means that a hermit who can't spiral q as well as other factions will be paying an arm and a leg in real money to get a bar cause no big faction will be interested in his q40 straw lol
