I'm with Burinn. It's a tech step past the slingshot. Doesn't surprise they changed the recipe without telling us :/

If it indeed is leather that's required, you're gonna have to wait, AT BEST, 30 hours past the world creation for anyone to figure it out. I've tried with hide straps myself which didn't work.

The component that would be make sense is honestly Hemp Fibers i'd say.

It's actually leather... Like what's the point of making hunter's bow use leather now...

Thanks for sharing, did the time it takes to tan leather increase, or am I crazy.
