Disclaimer, I have almost zero PvP experience.

How good PVP it has?

It's subjective question and I have hard time answering it.

Does this game have full loot PVP?

Yes, while indiscriminately killing you has been made harder, everything you have equipped and in your inventory can be grabbed when you're KO'd.

Is there massive PVP?

Client performance is supposedly really bad once you get to certain amount of people, and unfortunately that amount isn't that high. Not sure how much the new rendering has improved this, since only the default client has the new rendering and nobody "good" at PvP will ever PvP with default client.

Don't come to Haven strictly for the PvP. Come for the virtual world and crafting system. If you enjoy PvP, then enjoy it as a part of the greater whole, and not strictly for that.

You'd have to give a comparison for "massive." We're not talking EVE Online numbers of 1000+. We're not talking the defunct Warhammer Online numbers of 100+ on the same battlefield, but there have been times in the past there have been a few dozen or more on the same battlefield. Haven has but a single server. Combine that with client performance and the total number of people online while a fight is going on, and there are some significant limits.

One thing to keep in mind is that the game is more of a medieval life sim than pure PvP, despite a vocal part of the playerbase baying for blood.

Your call if you like life sim gameplay too.

I think the number of players PvPing seriously is less than a dozen. Then you have a lot of middleweights who dream of glory but never leave their walls. Finally there are the crime alts, who will kill you and take your stuff but you can defeat them pretty easily.

PvP rewards are, in my view, too low to make PvP worthwhile so I have never bothered. There are just easier ways to get anything you want. Even with the reduced death penalty.

The game is really more of a survival sim. Compare it to Rust (a similar game in many aspects). Rust contains much less PvE content. Players are forced, by game mechanics, into situations which result in PvP. The whole focus of the games design revolves around player conflict.

It's a FPS. It has different hosting mechanisms to reduce latency issues. They dump you naked and starving on a beach with a rock and you can eat people...

Hafen will never be an outstanding PvP game. Not in this format.
Laying flat.

Not a game which I can turn on anytime and actually have fun. Bloat, a lot of redundant mechanics and complexity. When I could spend a lot of time playing video games back in the day, the game was fun raiding, killing people and socializing, if it wasn't a clustrerfuck of complexity and mechanics, I think I would play it now for some other reasons, but not so much. A good product to consume for people that have nothing going outside of the PC/virtual reality

It's a good game to start playing in between August to September.

A real life simulation with educational elements. Where you fill your home with other peoples' stuff and hunt animals until your home implodes and you become bored, for there are no new trophies left to obtain.

Very content rich game and the trophy hunt and trading would only become richer if the different continents each had their own climate and exclusives.
And if the travel across the sea was made far slower, more tedious, so that a travel between continents is a journey that one has to save provisions and prepare for.
Or hearthling NPCs that you can enslave and force to do combat and bot work for you.
Introducing sea and different continents was a very good direction to take.

It's a very therapeutic game for the pp

Great way to put it. You can either play haven or you can have a life. Too many time dependent aspects and daily logins and maintenance required (livestock, cheese, curios, silk, steel, farming, plus just patrolling your walls)

During the covid-19 lockdown in the US around the time of the last world reset I had a great time playing for about a month or so, then I had to go back to living in the real world and the two seem mutually exclusive.

Also about 75 percent of the player base is screeching autistic retards which totally ruins the social aspect

I think its a great game to have fun in.
Its also easy to spend too much time trying to be the best and do everything.

It is possible to play Haven while having a life and also having fun playing.
Things you need for this to work:
Game knowledge or you'll be wasting time doing things that are boring and not needed.
A plan for not burning out.
A long term goal.

Haven is a slow burn game in stead of a round based moba/fps/card game that you can jump into immediately.
People with patience are rewarded with many enjoyable experiences.

I'm with this guy. Its a fun strategy slow style game that really rewards marathon progression.

Sometimes it's pretty easy to get lost in all there is to do and become overwhelmed though.

It's a fun game to play when you want to waste a week or two. After that, there's not much to do. Progressing quality takes far too much time, work, and micromanaging to ever be manageable if you want to have a life. Or to have fun. The base-building aspect is fun, though. It has potential.
