There's a bunch of cosmetics in the game as it is. Go buy them and prove the point. Right now subscriptions are outselling them to the point where it isn't even funny.

if we could wear cosmetic stuff over our "normal" equip and armor like it has been suggested a bunch of times, then i'm sure the hats would be much more popular.

Actually i agree if they could be put on over normal armor they would sell much better but i still doubt they would outsell subscriptions are bring in near the kind of money subs do. Now to go raise another thread to life as is the way of the forum lich king

Let's make it so that players can hide what kind of gear they are using! It totally fair and balanced to not be able to tell if the guy in front of my gate is in battle gear or farming gear! I really thought this suggestion out!

I agree with you but as people have pointed out already the gear players are wearing when you "meet" them is useful information to know. Allowing cosmetic items to cover or be used over normal gear would not be the best solution in my opinion.

We need cosmetic slots with an option to hide/display any cosmetic gear should you not want to look at it and only see players in their normal equipment.
