Good 69'th post. My issue is not with the pay to play, but the scale model. I'd be much more interested in a flat $10/$15 unlimited models, with the pretty stuff being extra. The big issue is the fact that; A) It's an Alpha, B)Server stability has ALWAYS been an issue. It's just not for me. I'll keep trying it, and hopefully JLob figure out a better method.

Probably 14 years old with no job, or you live in Russia and $15 is your monthly vodka bill, or someone that wanted to bot instead of actually play the game and take advantage of its awesome features.

Everyone that is approaching this calmly and reasonably are mature, likely adults, able to afford the subscription. If the player base 3 months from now consists of mainly these types of players, the pay to play model will have been a huge success.

You little monsters treated this like 4Chan and now its biting you in the ass. "Topkek" and "dank memes" my friends, or whatever is hip these days.

Alright, why i should pay for PermaDeath, and future server wipes? It's like pay for oxygen.

Typically I am a pay to play type of gamer, so this has me pleasantly surprised. This has a way of keeping the toxic people away. My only concern is if we are going to have a decent amount of content updates? If they decide to drop this game and go months at a time with little to nothing then that would be a shame. Perhaps if we pay, they will start to act like responsible developers. I think the way they have handled this situation says otherwise though. The fact that it is just sort of dumped this on us is probably why so many people are upset.

Because those are both features of a game that you enjoy playing, the developers of which deserve to get paid for.

Its fucking $6 a month if you subscribe for a full year.
2 years ago most of you fuckers were begging to pay $6/month just so the World 7 server would stop lagging.

i think that a large amount of the rage is because this was implemented with no warning
personally i don't think the pay model is thaaat terrible, i'll probably pay when i'm playing regularly enough to justify it, and i like that i can continue to play for free when money's tight
should help the server situation too if they can afford to buy better hardware
Did that coffin just breathe?

Yeah, 'cause we'll see a big drop in players in general. RIP Haven and Hearth.
