Honestly I wouldn't want Haven and Hearth on Steam not because of its current state or the P2P model but just in fear that the steam community will make this game extremely toxic like DayZ and other survival games where you cant even trust someone cause they kill you instantly and I feel HnH is more about teamwork and not just running around and trolling or PKing.

It wasn't toxic to begin with?

Putting haven in steam is not that fucking easy. First of all, it would need complete recode. Server code probably cant handle that much user son at once no matter how powerful hardware. Also world would have to be enormous, or then have multiple servers. There would be lots and LOTS of work needed. It just wouldnt work with current game. This game isnt designed for that.

Isn't that already the H&H community though? You can argue that Hafen has made the game less murder friendly as it takes longer to get to murder but it's still a reality that is closely looming. =)

More like $15 - 20. Belive me, $5 as a one time buy is not enough to keep up a server, unless like 10 000 people buy it. $5 would bee good for a subscripton, but not for one time purchase.

This is exactly what I was thinking, either a one time 15-20 dollar fee or a 5 dollar subscription.

No way. This 'game' isn't even worth having on Steam for free. It would get dumpstered instantly by a sea of warranted negative feedback reviews.

The Haven community is a bit toxic but I fin d when I play Hafen or even Haven most of the time people enjoy teaming up with you and such and forming parties. A lot of time on most other survival games its just a kill on sight immediately because there no trust. I feel like if Hafen gets put on steam no one will trust anyone and that will hurt the games rep honestly, but hey opinions are opinions.
