Hmm, maybe I'm mistaken. I'm going to keep rushing south.

With such a large world, it doesn't make sense that the map curves inward so sharply. The sharper the turn, the smaller the circle... so.. maybe still rectangular.

How long did it take you to get there? I'm on my way south-east since the start of the game and no border in sight.

Honestly, too long as a viable option for casual players to get in contact with their friends.

The starter area is small enough, that if you scour that area, sticking to the Hearthfires, you'll eventually find where your friends are.
